About

Robinholt is a multimedia sculptor whose uncanny, immersive spaces create subtle alternate realities. Robinholt’s work examines the way information is collected, interpreted, stored and disseminated in societies, and how these information processes shape the way we understand reality. These ideas are often communicated by pulling aesthetic inspiration from Western religious and occult histories. In addition, Robinholt incorporates performance and conceptual elements that bring together the space between art and life, reality and delusion. Robinholt is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has exhibited complete bodies of work at ‘The Loft’ with the New York Arts Program in New York City, and at the Allegheny Art Galleries in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
